De El Alamein .. The Minister of Health follows the implementation of the health insurance scheme for Eid al-Adha

Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, chaired this morning a meeting in El Alamein, in Matrouh governorate, to review the comprehensive health insurance plan for Eid al-Adha , especially in the governorates of Matrouh and Alexandria.

This took place at a meeting organized by Dr. Mostafa Ghanima, Head of the Therapeutic Medicine Sector, Dr. Amr Rashid, Deputy Head of the Egyptian Ambulance Authority, Dr. Ibrahim. Hbadan, Head of Central Administration for Critical and Urgent Care, Dr. Mohsen Taha, Under-Secretary at the Ministry of Health in Matrouh, Dr. Alaa Heads of Ministry.

The Minister of Health and Population, the Ministry's information advisor and spokesperson, said the minister had examined the ability of hospitals and health units to provide the best medical service to patients , in addition to the availability of hospitals for food poisoning, noting that the minister had reviewed the ambulance deployment plan. Things are going according to plan, praising the efforts of all members of the medical teams.

He added that the minister has ordered to tighten control over restaurants, hotels and shops that provide food and drink to citizens, and to ensure that employees are in possession of a certificate of health and are not contaminated by an infectious disease, and immediately prosecute in case of an offense.

He added that the minister had stressed the need to set up a 24-hour medical team throughout Eid, especially because of the increasing number of holidaymakers in the summer.

The Ministry of Health announced the comprehensive health insurance plan, which includes the payment of 2227 equipped ambulances, which will be distributed at public gatherings, parks, gardens, mosques and prayer areas of all the governorates of the Republic, as well as 10 river ambulances and two helicopters on motorways and major centers. In addition to enhancing the readiness of all ambulance facilities, to prepare as much readiness as possible in all hospitals and to cancel all types of leave for medical teams during the celebration.
