Manchester City striker, Raheem Sterling, is developing physically and his fitness could help him play all front-line roles, said manager Pep Guardiola. The English international has scored a brilliant hat-trick to kick off the Premier League season with a 5-0 home win against West Ham United on Saturday.
Guardiola told Sterling, who started the confrontation to the left of the shooting line after Sergio Aguero, the top scorer on the bench, had the potential to play any offensive role.
"Since we are gearing up for this season in China and for the Community Shield match, Rahim has scored at least one goal per game," said the Spanish coach at City's website.
"The position of the attacker suits him a lot." He is good at three positions on the front line.
"We have a group of talented players, but they have to play as a team, and when the team rushes, they play well.
Sterling, who won the player of the year award in the annual referendum of the Football Writers Association in England last season, has scored 25 goals in all competitions of the season.
The host of the city, Tottenham Hotspur, during his next match in the Premier League on August 17.
