"The need to adhere to civil peace in Lebanon, to protect the country from sectarianism and to prevent sectarianism, because increased devotion to sectarianism places Lebanon at the bottom of crises," said the mufti Sheikh Ahmad Qabalan in the sermon of Eid al-Adha.

He called for "the need to create a national alliance to protect the state's plan from any downfall," noting that "Lebanon's social and economic crisis has become very suffocating.

Qabalan warned against the game of upheavals and side agreements, stressing that "the political decision must be the amount of the national crisis and not the amount of influence of leaders and axes or the value of agreements ".

He stressed "the choice of the army, the people and the resistance as the basis of national security in Lebanon and in the region", underlining "the need for religious, moral and political reconciliation between countries in the region to protect it from American and Israeli ambitions. "

He called for the need to read the reality simply, pointing out that "there is enough room for maneuvering because the time of betting is over and must be coordinated, it must at least coordinate what is needed with Syria to solve common problems such as the problem of displaced persons ".
