The Spanish player, known as "Matador", who won the Cincinnati title in 2013, was crowned Rogers Cup in Montreal, Canada on Sunday, after defeating Daniel Medvedev of Russia in the final.
The organizers also announced the withdrawal of Canadian youth Bianca Andresco, who was crowned Rogers Cup in Toronto, due to a change in her program.
