The only thing most people know about black holes is that they are dark entities, but the nearest hole on the planet has violated it, after observing a glowing hole more brilliant than at any other time in its history, according to the British website "Metro". The black holes are so dense that the light can not travel too fast to escape the high density of the hole, which always makes them dark, but they can also produce a strange glow in the right conditions.
For example, black holes are often surrounded by gas and other glossy materials due to friction and gravity forces. It is this phenomenon that allowed astronomers to take the first picture of a black hole earlier this year, which showed a shiny disc surrounding a dark nucleus.
A team from the University of California discovered the huge hole in the center of the main human galaxy, the Milky Way, 75 times brighter than usual. The scientists confirmed that the behavior could not yet be fully explained. Scientists say the change is probably due to an increase in the amount of gas absorbed into the black hole.
