Real Betis wants to sign Mariano Diaz Mijia, the Real Madrid striker, in the window of summer transfers, according to the Spanish newspaper "Marca".
Zinedine Zidane, coach of the Royal Club, does not want to rely on the Dominican international for the new season and the former Olympique de Lyon striker has been involved only in two games at during the preparatory season.
The newspaper points out that there is an obstacle to the transfer of the Dominican striker to Betis, because of his annual salary, which brings him five million euros a year.
Diaz only played 13 games last season with the Spanish club, scoring three goals.
