South Korea, Samsung, has filed a new patent with the US Patent and Trademark Office for a hidden camera lens.
The South Korean company seeks to provide contact lenses on the eyes equipped with a micro-camera capable of taking pictures and recording videos.
The reports confirmed that Samsung was providing lenses with sensors affected by the movement of the eye and that they would be able to control the functions of the camera through the eyelashes, or to watch at the top or at the bottom.
The reports failed to determine when the new contact lenses were supposed to be on the market or to indicate their price.
