The Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, announced the success of Hajj health plans for 1440 Ah and that this year's Hajj is free of events affecting public health.

Al-Rabiah has said according to the instructions of the guardian of the two holy mosques and his crown prince, that God protects them.

The Ministry of Health was prepared early for the pilgrimage this year 1440 AH and issued the health requirements and recommendations related to the pilgrimage, which were issued by the embbadies of the guardian of the two holy mosques.

More than one million six hundred and ninety thousand pilgrims have benefited from preventive and ambulatory services in health care outlets provided by the ministry this year.

The Ministry, in cooperation with a number of government agencies, participated in the Mecca Road Initiative, in which preventive measures were implemented in the country before arriving in the Kingdom.

This initiative, thank God, has made a qualitative leap in meeting health demands.

During a pilgrimage this year in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), the ministry also set up an electronic early warning system for health events and epidemics.

In addition, 25 hospitals with a total capacity of 5,000 beds, 142 primary care centers and more than 140 mobile clinics, located in the pilgrim gathering areas, were established in Mecca, Medina and Holy places.

The number of pilgrims who received health services in our settlements reached about half a million pilgrims from the first day of Dhu al-Qaeda on the twelfth day of the month of Dhu al-Hajja.

More than 4,200 pilgrims were admitted to the hospital, 36 open heart surgeries, over 750 cardiac catheters, 600 different surgeries, 12 births and dialysis services were provided to all who needed it. these services are provided free of charge.

This year, the ministry launched for the first time the robotic medical consulting technology, which allows any hospital in Mina to contact specialized consultants in remote areas.

Health also provided machine translation equipment in 120 languages ​​in hospitals and primary care centers, as well as a direct translation through the 937 call center.

The electronic medical file system was set up in 55 primary care centers and all hospitals in the Holy Places.

Fingerprint identification technology has also been activated in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior.

On this occasion, we pay tribute to the guardian of the two holy mosques and to his crown prince for their unfailing support to the Ministry of Health, its employees and all sectors of the state operating in the Hajj, calling Allah to accept their pilgrimage and to send them back safely.
