LONDON (Reuters) – A 370,000 Swiss franc (380,000 US dollar) fine in Manchester City has been imposed for violating the transfer rules for players under the age of 18, FIFA said in a statement on Tuesday.
Manchester City has broken the rules of fair play in some transactions for players under 18 years.
The only "FIFA" fined "citizens" only financially, without resorting to the suspension of market transfer operations, as was the case with his compatriot Chelsea several months ago.
FIFA stated that the Disciplinary Committee had taken into account that the city had "acknowledged responsibility".
FIFA and the European Union (UEFA) continue their investigations into a fair financial game.
Chelsea, the rival of the city in the English league, was punished for prohibition to recruit new players for one year and sentenced to a fine of 600,000 Swiss francs in February for violation of the regulations on international transfers of players less 18 years old.
