The support forces team left Doha on Tuesday for Beirut (Lebanon) to participate in the third edition of the West Asian Championships for Juniors and Junior Athletes, which will be held from August 15 to 18 in the Lebanese capital. the participation of 11 countries: Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Sultanate. Oman, Yemen, Syria, Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon.

Khalifa Abdulmalik, head of the national teams, led the team that included Khalid Al Marri, the team leader, Salah Shabouh, the main coaches, as well as 11 players. Al-Khater, Mohammed Nouh Khalifa, Saeed Ali Al-Ali, Hamza Souissi, Abdallah Tarek Sharaf, coaches Salaheddine Shabouh, Lee Michelle Christophe, Hendrik Jacobs Coetzee, Mohamed Farah Al Kaabi, Evisa Jacling and Pavel Sezirba, physiotherapist Mohamed Bashir Mowafaa and Benjamin .

The competitions, which will start on Thursday, will take place at the Saydet al-Jamhour school, with training sessions on the stadiums of the Camille Chamoun Sports City in Beirut, the Rafic Hariri University City during the event and Antonine University Stadium in Baabda.
