Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, went to El Alamein Hospital to follow the implementation of the guidelines she had sent during her inspection on the first day from Eid Al-Adha.
The minister met with the hospital administration, General Mohamed Ismail, chief of technical support and projects at the ministry, as well as the company in charge of hospital development, to follow the 39 progress of work and carry out the delivery of sections and units of the hospital.
The minister has ensured the installation of 4 air conditioning units in the emergency department and ordered the rapid operation of the central air conditioning of the hospital, as well as adaptations for the dialysis service during the first phase of the development plan next week.
For his part, Dr. Mohamed Zarif, director of the Al-Alamain Hospital, confirmed that during the meeting, it had been agreed to complete the development of the first phase of the availability. intensive care rooms, comprising 11 isolation beds, operational wing, recovery rooms and nurseries, as well as 14 rooms in the inner section. Completion of central air conditioning facilities in hospital departments and units.
Zarif pointed out that the hospital was ready and that all the medical staff was working 24 hours a day as well as all the available possibilities, until the completion of the development work. During the days of "Arafa and Eid al-Adha", 7 operations between women and general surgery were reserved and 4 cases of intensive care were reserved. And 3 cases in the nursery department, in addition to receiving 7 cases in the internal departments.
