The Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Hala Zayed, went to Al Alamain Hospital to follow the implementation of the guidelines issued during her inspection visit on the first day from Eid Al-Adha.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and official spokesman for the ministry, said the minister had held a meeting with the hospital administration and Major General Mohamed Ismail, Head of Technical Support and Projects at the Ministry, and the company in charge of hospital development to keep up with the progress of the work.

Mujahid added that the minister was rebadured about the installation of four air conditioners in the emergency department and had also ordered the rapid operation of the central air-conditioning of the hospital and the installation of the service dialysis during the first phase of the development plan next week.

For his part, Dr. Mohammed Zarif, director of the Al-Alamain Hospital, confirmed that during the meeting, it was agreed to complete the development of the first phase of preparation of the intensive care rooms, comprising 11 isolation beds, operational wing, recovery rooms and nurseries, as well as 14 rooms in the inner section. And the completion of central air conditioning facilities in the departments and units of the hospital.

Zarif pointed out that the hospital was ready and that all the medical staff were working 24 hours a day with all the possibilities available until the completion of the development work. During the period of "Arafa and Eid al-Adha", seven operations between women and general surgery were recorded, and four cases of intensive care were recorded. 3 cases in the nursery department, in addition to receiving 7 cases in the internal departments.
