Public health doctors, pharmacists and dentists strike Thursday

The General Union of Doctors, Pharmacists and Health Dentists of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT) decided Thursday to launch a general strike on the entire territory of the Republic, announced Wednesday in a statement its balance sheet.
The union has called on all doctors, pharmacists and public health dentists to meet tomorrow morning at the headquarters of the regional labor unions and to ensure a full day of treatment of urgent cases in hospital emergency departments.
"Following the conciliation session held today at the Ministry of Health, doctors, pharmacists and public health dentists were forced to go on general strike on Thursday, August 15, 2019, as previously planned", according to the communicated.
It should be noted that the union issued in a telegram in August a telegram of a strike scheduled for Thursday in the context of "lack of respect and implementation of the minutes of the sessions, including the awarding of contracts. Orders for the agreements concluded between them and the supervisory authority and which were organized on 6 July ".
