Liverpool won the European Super Cup on Wednesday after beating compatriot Chelsea 5 to 4 on penalties after the 2-2 draw ended in a clash between them at "Vodafone Park" in Istanbul.
Olivier Giroud (36) and Jorginho (101 from the penalty spot) scored the goals for Chelsea, while Sadio Mane of Liverpool (48 and 95) scored.
Both penalties were successful, with the exception of Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, who was saved by Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian.
