LONDON (Reuters) – Chelsea left Istanbul on Thursday after losing 5-4 to Liverpool on penalties after the end of the regular season and overtime with a 2-0 draw in the European Super Cup final at the Vodafone Arena.
According to the Anatolian correspondent, the bus carrying the convoy of the Chelsea team would have arrived at the international airport of İstanbul.
The players and the technical delegation entered the general terminal of the airport as part of strict security measures.
Once the pbadport procedures were completed, the Chelsea team departed the airport in a private jet.
