Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian pound fell against the US dollar after the three-day holiday of Eid Al-Adha in banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector.
The pound sterling fell against the greenback in six Egyptian banks at the end of the trading session on Thursday, from about one penny to three piastres, while the pound sterling rose three piastres in two banks.
The pound sterling fell by 3 piastres against the dollar to the Suez Cbad Bank, to 16.55 pounds on the purchase and 16.65 pounds on the sale.
The pound sterling recorded a decline in the Audi Bank by two dollars to reach 16.55 pounds with the purchase, 16.65 pounds for sale.
The pound sterling fell against the dollar in the two dollars of the Commercial International Bank CIB to record 16.53 pounds to buy and 16.63 pounds to sell.
The pound fell to the African Arab Bank and the Greek National Bank of Egypt with a penny to reach £ 16.53 with the purchase and £ 16.63 for sale.
The Pound Sterling also yielded a penny at 16.54 Egyptian pounds for the purchase and 16.64 Egyptian pounds for the sale.
While the Egyptian pound increased by 3 piastres against the US dollar at Al Baraka Bank, it recorded 16.52 pounds on sale and 16.62 pounds on sale.
At United Bank, the pound has increased by one cent to 16.52 pounds with the purchase and 16.62 pounds on the sale.
