Prime Minister Saad Hariri met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at the ministry headquarters at 3 pm Washington time, in the presence of former Minister Ghattas Khoury, Deputy Secretary Pompeo for Middle East Affairs David Schenker and Under-Secretary for Political Affairs David Hill. The talks will focus on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region and bilateral relations between the two countries.
After the meeting, Hariri said at a joint press conference with Pompeo that he had confirmed David Satterfield's commitment in the fight against terrorism and border demarcation negotiations.
