Local gold prices stabilized at the start of trading on Friday, August 16, 2019, after rising yesterday at a value of about 14 pounds at a price of one gram without execution.
The "News Today Portal" publishes local gold prices and may vary from one store to another, depending on the geographic extent at the provinces' level of the Republic.
Local gold prices recorded 21 carats about 700 pounds, 18 carats about 600 pounds, 24 carats about 800 pounds and the gold pound about 5500 pounds.
Ihab Wbadef, member of the Board of Directors of the Gold Division of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, in statements exclusive to "Akhbar Al-Youm", according to which the prices of gold locals, set a new record high of 21 carats at around 705 pounds during the mid-week trading session.
Local gold prices have risen in recent days to about 20 pounds per gram without finishing.
