The Spanish Football Federation announced on Friday that a big surprise awaited supporters of Boca Jr. and River Plate in the return leg of the Libertadores Cup final on Sunday.
The Spanish Confederation has confirmed the presence of Messi Barca, captain of Barcelona, during the return match of the Libertadores Cup Sunday between River Plate and Boca Juniors at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", the protocol director of the Spanish federation announced the presence of Messi in the stadium.
There have been several recent reports of Messi's presence at the Real Madrid Real Madrid match, but without any confirmation from the player or the Spanish Confederation, until the confirmation appears on Friday.
The South American Football Association (NCM) announced that the match would be held outside of Argentina on Dec. 9, after being postponed to the last minute of the scheduled Saturday, as a result of the Attack by a River Plate fan in the bus carrying players from Boca Juniors.

River Plate supporters threw stones and bottles at the Boca Juniors, causing the windows of the bus and many injured guest players to fall.
The first leg between the two teams was held on November 11th at Boca Juniors' Bomponera Stadium, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
