The British newspaper Sun commented on Egyptian club Al Ahly's interest in bringing veteran coach Steve Bruce.
The manager, who recently left the first division of Aston Villa in England, has been named as one of Patricia Cartier's coaching candidates.
The former Manchester United star "could have a new experience with the biggest clubs in Africa" in the coming period.
"The team with 40 titles in the league looked for a state of division among the public regarding Bruce's name and the fact that he is the right man for this stage.
Al-Ahli has once again witnessed an unprecedented shock in recent years by losing the African Champions League title and leaving the Arab league, as well as 15 points less than his traditional rivals, Zamalek.
Al-Sun also quoted Al-Ahli officials about Bruce's appointment, including Adly al-Qai's, who said he did not know if Bruce would be the next coach or not, and that the name of the new coach had not yet been agreed.
