British scientists have developed a three-dimensional model of cancer using virtual reality technology, which offers a new way to explore the disease. This method makes it possible to study a sample of the tumor, taken from a patient, in detail and from all angles, with a map for each cell.
"This method will increase our understanding of cancer and facilitate the search for a new treatment," say researchers at the University of Cambridge.
