A serene meeting between Aoun and al-Gharib before the cabinet meeting

President Michel Aoun met with Minister of State for Displaced Affairs Saleh Al-Ghareeb before the cabinet meeting, asking him not to raise the issue of the Qabrshmoun incident.

President Aoun had stressed at the beginning of the cabinet meeting "that an unfortunate incident in Qabrishmun had a major impact on the country some time ago and that at the meeting yesterday, we have returned to normal ".

He pointed out that "the consequences of the Qabrishmoun incident have been dealt with along three lines, politically completed by yesterday's meeting, which is legally in the custody of the judiciary and will complete its work in accordance with the legislation in force and submit the results to the Council of Ministers.

Held at the Baabda Palace under the chairmanship of President Michel Aoun, the Council of Ministers met for the first time after the Qabrishmoun incident and the reconciliation and franchise meeting that was held yesterday in Baabda.
