At least one in five people suffer from periodontal disease, which causes bleeding gums and bad breath, and can lead to tooth loss if left untreated.
Researchers from China's Jinan University conducted a study of about 213,000 men, who badyzed their data on their teeth and badual health, according to the British website Mabor.
The study found that not keeping your mouth clean increases the risk of impotence three times because gingivitis causes men to reduce testosterone and increase inflammation.
The lack of cleanliness of the art and teeth is one of the most important causes of gingivitis. Doctors therefore recommend brushing your teeth at least twice a day, as well as regularly using the wire when cleaning your teeth.
Smoking, alcohol consumption and diabetes are among the causes of gingivitis.
