A sit-in in front of Ras Baalbek's universal hospital to protest against Dr. Amoun's assault

The National News Agency reported that doctors and staff of the Ras Baalbek Universal Hospital, in North Bekaa, had staged a sit-in outside the entrance to the city. Hospital, with the participation of actors Ras Baalbek, Hermel and Arsal, to protest against the armed objection against the director of the hospital, Dr. Abdul Karim Amoun, this morning and theft of his car. He was doing his humanitarian duty to save a patient.

As early as the sit-in, Amoun called on the security services to "stop the looting and robbery perpetrated on the international highway by force of arms." He showed what had happened to him, pointing out that, while he was about to rescue one of the patients, he intercepted him at 6 am on the white Baalbek road, an armed man in a BMW car fitted with a sun visor, and had declared automatic rifle. An army intelligence patrol stole his Nissan x.trail 2018, registered in the name of his daughter, Dr. Dalia Amoun, and his mobile phone on the iPhone.

Dr. Amoun called to review the cameras at the scene of the attack "because the shooter was not convinced when he committed the robbery this morning".

Ali Nbader al-Din, one of the sit-in participants, called on the security services to discover the perpetrators and hit them with an iron hand.

It is worth mentioning that the area where the attack against Dr. Amon witnessed a series of similar similar flights, about four months ago, then disappeared to return today and regain the region.
