Accreditation of the Jordanian delegation to 6 games at the Paralympic Games in West Asia

Amman – The countdown has begun for the unveiling of the second Paralympic Games in West Asia, organized by Jordan from 15 to 22 September under the patronage of HRH Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordanian Olympic Committee and member of the International Olympic Committee.
The executive committee of the session devoted its extended session held yesterday at the Paralympic Committee headquarters, to see what has been accomplished to ensure the success required for the ideal accommodation. The Executive Committee is chaired by Suleiman Al-Rousan, Vice Chair of the Paralympic Committee. .
Participants expressed their joy and pride in the completion of participating countries from all over Western Asia, where the Paralympic Committee, through the Paralympic Federation of Western Asia, has received lists of delegates from 12 countries: Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Yemen, Syria and Lebanon. Palestine and Jordan, waiting to send lists of Kuwait in the coming days, are fighting for titles and medals. The 6 games on offer are: weightlifting, athletics, table tennis, wheelchair basketball, ball for the blind and Boschia.
The Executive Committee approved the training of the Jordanian delegation of 118 persons led by Dr. Amer Al-Shaar and in all six matches, as well as the adoption of the number of players, players and coaches, as follows:
– Athletics "Physical and visual impairment and cerebral palsy": 33 players under the supervision of coaches Mohammed Al-Harasis, Ahmad Bani Ybadin and Nbader Al-Khawaja.
– Table tennis: 18 players under the supervision of coaches Haroun Shaltouni and Mohammed Abu Farha.
– Wheelchair Basketball: 12 players under the supervision of coaches Hamza al-Hindi and Fadi al-Qudsiya.
– Weightlifting: 9 players under the supervision of coach Isa Hilal.
– Albuccia: 11 players under the supervision of coach Taha Ziadeh.
– Goal ball for the blind: 6 players under the supervision of coaches Abdullah Daghestani and Kamal Saeed.
