The Bahraini team sank 1-0 against Thailand in Thursday's match at the Emirates Al Maktoum Stadium at the 2019 Asian Cup.
Midfielder Songkrasin Shanathib scored the only goal in the 58th minute to give Thailand its first three points in the first set, after a 4-1 defeat to India in its first match, reported Reuters.
Bahrain stayed at just one point of two games after a 1-1 draw against UAE hosts in Saturday's opening match.
The UAE will meet India in the other Group A clash later on Thursday.
