Al-Nahar learned that the leadership of the Song of Alexandria festival at its sixteenth session had decided to postpone it indefinitely due to the illness of its president and founder, Eng.
The festival was to be held at the Opera at the end of August this year and will be celebrated by the opening of the artist # Nawal al-Zoghbi. It will be completed by the artist Mohamed Munir and pays homage to the heroes and manufacturers of the cinema corridor. The artists cost them nearly four million Egyptian pounds.
All guests and singers will be notified of the postponement until they cancel the festival on their behalf.
The 15th edition of the festival, held last December, was named after the late musician Talal Maddah, artist Hani Shaker, musician Mohammed Sultan, poet Omar Batisha, Saudi artist Waad and Saudi musician Nbader Al Saleh, celebrated by Asala Nasri.
