Farouk's body was buried at the Mustafa Mahmoud Mosque in the Arab League Street in Mohandiseen after lunchtime prayer on Thursday.
He died Thursday morning, at the age of 67, after a battle with cancer. It is scheduled to be held Sunday at the Sheikh Zayed Police Mosque.
