DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Saudi Football Federation has adopted new amendments to the list of professional and player-related conditions, including a minimum wage for professional players in the Kingdom and a ceiling on salaries.

The Saudi Football Federation announced on its official Twitter page the adoption of new amendments to the list of professionalism and conditions of the players.

The amendments set a minimum wage for professional players, provided that the monthly salary of the professional player is not less than 10,000 and 800 riyals.

The ceiling of the monthly salaries of the professional players amounts to 150 000 riyals, housing allowance and transportation included.

The Saudi Federation of Premier Clubs has authorized the introduction of player contracts provided that their amount does not exceed SR 1 500 000 for contracts of at least 3 years and that the supplier of the contract is divided into equal annual installments in each season with the player's contract.
