The African Football Confederation (CA) has decided to lift the suspension of the Egyptian club Ismaili and to send her back to participate in the African Champions League in its current version, after having accepted her grievance.
On Sunday, the African Union (AU) held a hearing in the presence of Chancellor Mohammed Al-Ismaili, secretary of the Ismaili Fund, Nihad Hajjaj, legal adviser, and the club's lawyer, Nasr Azzam, for pronounce on the grievance filed by the Dervish officials against the penalty of exclusion.
The African Union, after hearing the testimony of the parties to the crisis and read the file, approved the validity of the Ismaili grievance and reinstated the team in the competition.
Ismaili officials have based their grievances on Article 12 of the African Union (AU) Rules, which states that the mbades must go to the field or that a guest member is injured in the exclusion game, which was not performed during the match between the dervishes and Tunisians.
He dismissed Ismaili from the tournament after the Ismaili fans' riots in the last match of the tournament against his Tunisian African guest, which resulted in the cancellation of the meeting.
