European Football Association (UEFA) President Aleksandr Chivrin has confirmed the use of the video technique "VAR" this season in the Champions League from the eighth finals.
Chivrin, of Dublin after the meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee, confirmed that the video judgment technique would be implemented from the start of the final round in February, after the winter holidays.

The technology will be adopted in the final of the UEFA Champions League and U-21 nations next summer.
"We are ready to use VAR technology in advance, and we are confident that it will be useful at all our competitions because it will bring valuable benefits to referees and reduce bad decisions," he said. he told the media.
Last September, UEFA had decided to use the video conference technology of the Champions League for the 2019-2020 season, but many mistakes in the group stage contributed to that date.
