Loaned by Al-Fayhaa club, Chilean striker Rooney Fernandez, top scorer in the Saudi Football League last season, announced his contract with Al-Nasr.

Fernandez scored 13 goals last season to end the takeover of Al-Ahly's Syrian striker Omar Al-Suhma in the previous three seasons.

Al-Fayhaa, 13th in the Saudi championship, has scored just three goals this season.

Al-Nasr said on Twitter: "The Al-Nasr football company has signed a five-month contract with Chilean player Rooney Fernandez Maara and thanks Al-Fayhaa club management for facilitating loan procedures."

Fernandez is Al-Nasr's second victory in ninth place in the current transfer period, after Brazilian midfielder Junior Dutra was crowned with Corinthians for six months.

Al-Nasr also announced today the abandonment of the services of the trio composed of Capai, Rosa and Marcinos.
