Amazon announced the creation of 2,500 full-time jobs in Ohio, with the opening of two centers.
The company said Monday in a statement that it was planning to open a center in Akron and another in Roosevelt.
"Each center will have more than 700,000 square feet and should ship small products, such as books, electronics and toys, and produce sophisticated robots," she said.
"Amazon continues to show its confidence in the large workforce and the ecommerce environment of Ohio," said Ohio Governor Mike De Win.
"I am pleased to welcome two other investments from Amazon, bringing thousands of new jobs in Ohio and state of the art facilities to Akron and Rosford.
