Belgian club Anderlecht fired coach Hein van Grosbruck after a series of disappointing results that resulted in the departure of the European league team and a fall to fourth place in the league.
Anderlecht, who has evolved into the European Championship after three draws and three losses, also lost 2-1 at home against Cercle Brugge Sunday, eleven points behind leader Gingk.
"The team did not score enough points in the Belgian league, and it came out of the Belgian Cup and the Champions League of Europe," said the sports director of the Anderlecht, Michael Farshorn. "We have to get out of this hurdle quickly." We thank Hein vanHabruck for the services he has rendered to the club.
