Books – Assem Al-Ansari:

The company "Roskomnadzor" Russian agency responsible for telecommunications regulation in the country, will respond to the US law on data storage in force in Russia, which stores the data of users locally in the country.

According to the website "Foreignpolicy", the Russian authorities confirmed that "Apple" could respond to data decryption requests and be submitted to the security authorities without an official note being required.

The company will store personal user data such as name, address, email and phone number, without confirmation of other data such as images, iCloud content, etc.

As part of this agreement, Apple will retain user data for six months in Russia.

Apple faced a surge of opposition when it responded to similar Chinese demand last year by transferring Chinese users' I-Cloud data to local Guizhou Cloud servers.
