Apple continues to expand its team responsible for the development of self-driving technology

At the moment, no one really knows what Apple's plans are for self-driving technology. However, despite the secrecy surrounding the project and Apple's plans, the company seems to be progressing to the extent that, according to reports, Apple seems to have expanded its team in charge of autonomous driving technology.

According to figures from the California Auto Administration, Apple has expanded its self-driving technology team, bringing about 33 new drivers to put them at the wheel of its current fleet of 69 autonomous cars in the state.

This seems to be a stark contrast to the reports we heard a few months ago, Apple would have redeployed employees who were working on a stand-alone technology project to work on other projects, suggesting that the company probably decided to 39, abandoning his previous projects. However, new recruits suggest that Apple seems to be moving forward.

We do not really know when the fruits of Apple's work will be fruitful. For now, nobody knows if Apple will be able to create its own autonomous cars or create a system that can be used in other cars, like the CarPlay system.
