The chess team delegation won the Arab Championship for individual events held in Jordan and won 14 medals, including 5 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze, as well as the president of the Arab Union , Sheikh Saud Ben Abdulaziz Al-Mualla, In the Jordanian club, crowned medals at the closing ceremony last night.
Our players have won five gold medals: Amran Al Hosani (under 20), Ammar Al Sderani (under 16), Wafa Darwish (under 16), Latifa Aldermaki (under 14) and Rashid Hussain Al Hammadi (under 8 years).
In addition to 3 silver medals, by Aisha Saif Al Ali in the under 16 category, Fatima Saif Al Ali in the 14 years and Hamad Nbader Al Shamsi in the under 12 category.
Our team has won 6 bronze medals with Wadima Al Kalbani (under 20), Aisha Sarhan Al Mu (18), Fatima Saif (14), Sultan Al Zaabi (18), Hamad Essam (Under 16), Mohammed Saeed Alleli (Under 14), with a total of 16 medals, with 4 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 7 bronze medals. Lebanon is third with 6 medals, Jordan fourth with 5 medals, Iraq and Syria in fifth place, 3 medals, Palestine with a gold medal, Tunisia with silver and bronze and Morocco with bronze.

The delegation returned to the country yesterday, via the Sharjah International Airport, led by Dr. Sarhan Al-Mu'in, Federation President, along with Abdulaziz Khoury, Vice President of Hussein Khalfan Al Shamsi, General Secretary of the Federation, Fuzia Abbas, Chief of Technical Staff of the Union, Al Wafd Administration, The coach of the women's team accompanied the mission to arbitration in the international tournament Mansour Tamimi.
