The International Doping Organization (ODA) announced its decision on Islam al-Shehabi, the star of the judo, following its doping during the Republican championship held in January.
Al-Shehabi decided to stop Al-Shehabi for 8 years in two different tournaments, in addition to a fine of LE 10,000 and the LE 30,000 judo union.
The judo badociation filed a grievance on the sanction, especially since the player participated in both championships on behalf of his club and not the national team.
More than one Egyptian athlete has fallen into the trap of doping, whether intentional or not.
