Bacterium of the tongue .. The secret of the most deadly cancers

[ad_1]

The tongue can predict the development of the deadliest forms of cancer, so high levels of certain bacteria on the tongue may be the key to pancreatic cancer screening, said a Chinese research group.

The study of gut microbes, one of the new areas of medical research, will allow experts to develop new treatments for cancer, intestinal diseases and even Alzheimer's disease.

The Chinese team examined a group of 30 pancreatic cancer patients in its infancy, compared them to 25 healthy volunteers, used the high-tech gene sequence to examine the microbiology of the language and has revealed that pancreatic patients had "different microbes" on the tongue compared to the healthy group.

Four types of bacteria increase the risk of pancreatic cancer: low levels of Haemophilus and Porphyromonas, high levels of Leptotrichia and Fusobacterium.

The team believes that the immune system is the most likely link between the microbiology of the tongue and pancreatic cancer. If it is proven, it can lead to new treatments, including antibiotics and potential immunotherapy, to help prevent future diseases.
