MADRID (Reuters) – Spain 's Real Madrid champion has signed a five – year contract with left – back Javier Vibro for 18 million euros ($ 19.99 million) as starting price, announced Sunday the champions of Primera Liga.
Vibro, 22, became the fourth Barcelona player in the current transfer period after the attack by Antoine Grizmann, midfielder Ferencé de Jong and neto goalkeeper.
"Barcelona and Real Betis have reached an agreement on the transfer of Junior Vibro for 18 million euros and 12 million euros in bonuses," Barcelona said in a statement.
"The player will sign a five-season contract until June 30, 2024 with a penalty clause of 200 million euros."
Vibro played 24 league games in the Primera Liga last season, scoring three goals and four badists with Betis, 10th.
Barcelona starts defending the title on August 16 against Athletic Bilbao.
