Sandro_Vagner striker # Bayern Munich, German Bundesliga champion for the past six seasons, has joined Chinese Tianjin Teda under a € 5 million contract.
"Sandro Wagner has come to ask us to release him from his contract," Hbadan Saleh Hamidzic, director of Bosnian sports, told the club. "He received a tempting offer from China and we accepted his request."
According to German and Chinese media, the TEDA team would have paid about 5 million euros to the former German international striker, although the daily Bild has previously revealed that the amount provided by the Chinese team, in the amount of 5 million euros, did not meet Bayern's expectations.
Bild later confirmed that Wagner had signed a two-year contract with an annual salary of € 7.5 million, which he considered a "big salary".
She added that Wagner's wife and three children will join him in China. The league will start on March 1st.
The former international striker left the Japanese Hoffenheim (2016-2018) to set up at Bayern in January for 13 million euros, after agreeing to replace his international striker Robert Levandowski.
The 31-year-old played only seven Bundesliga matches with Croatian coach Nico Kovac, including one match and six rebounds just minutes before the final whistle. The German striker has not been on the bench in the last two league games.
Wagner, who comes from Munich with his new team, will play alongside his former teammate Hertha Berlin Felix Bastians.
Tianjin Teda, who coached former German international defender Uli Stelike, has struggled in recent years to stay in Serie A and has almost fallen in the second season of last season.
He retired from international football last May after being dissatisfied with his coach Joachim Loew's refusal to take part in the 2018 World Cup with Manchavt, despite five goals in eight international caps.
