The Lebanese Taekwondo Federation continues its preparations for the second consecutive year by hosting the "Beirut Open" in its second edition from September 6 to 8, under the patronage of President Michel Aoun at the "Nihad Nofal Sports and Theater Complex" to Zouk Mikael under the supervision of the International Play Federation. And players from American, European, Asian, African and Oceanian countries.
The tournament is part of the G1 Championship, where players score points to qualify for the Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Lebanon will participate in the tournament, which will be managed by the Secretary General of the Federation, Mark Harb, with a mission of about 350 players and players of the Black Belt campaign who will continue their training with the field of accompaniment of President of the Federation and Chairman of the Tournament Organizing Committee, Dr. Habib Zarifa and its members.
The international badociation of British Taekwondo of Afghan origin has appointed Osman Dildar as delegate to oversee the course, which he had previously organized at the first edition of last year, in which Lebanon had won colored medals in bulk. Dildar submitted a positive report on the evaluation of all aspects of last year's session, which included praise from the organization in all respects and at the technical level.
The Lebanese federation should announce the countries participating in the tournament and the total number of players soon after the tournament closes two weeks before the tournament.
