LONDON (Reuters) – Manchester United plans to recruit Brazilian striker David Nerees of Ajax Amsterdam during the summer transfer period, the Sun newspaper reported.
According to the newspaper, United earns £ 46 million for the young Ajax team to strengthen the team's offensive next season, drawing the attention of the team's players on their success with the Dutch capital last season, which allowed them to qualify for the semifinal of the Champions League.
Ajax demanded a larger sum of 70 to 80 million pounds for the 22-year-old Brazilian, with a clause giving his former club Santos 23% of the value of his sale to another club.
Nires joined Ajax in 2017, coming from Santos for 10 million pounds, to play 99 games, scoring 29 goals.
