The African Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced Friday evening in an official statement the organization of Cameroon for the Africa Cup of Nations in 2021.
The African Union said it received a letter from Cameroon informing it of its intention to host the tournament in 2021 after its withdrawal in 2019.
K recently announced the withdrawal of the 2019 Nations Africa Cup of Cameroon due to the lack of preparation of the stadiums and the infrastructure needed to host the continental event.
Egypt and South Africa have officially requested the tournament next year.
