Liverpool supporter Joe Cooper thanked Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah after returning home to his son, who was hit by a streetlight while he was trying to catch her to get his attention.
In a tweet on his Twitter account, Cooper published a photo of Salah and his son with a word of thanks and gratitude. "Thank you for coming back to my children after Louis was injured, trying to receive your greetings," he writes.
Then he continued: "He loves you very much and forgot his pain as soon as you came to hug him and said that his nose injury was worth it."
He concluded his tweet saying, "You are a great and noble man."
Lewis was taken to the hospital where he was treated and in good condition, according to the British Metro.
