China's tax revenue increases in the first seven months of 2019

DirectChina's tax revenues have increased in the first seven months of this year.

Financial income from January to July increased by about 3.1 percent, according to data released Friday by the Chinese Ministry of Finance.

Cash expenditures increased 9.9% in the first seven months of 2019.

China wants to boost economic growth after data showing a sharp slowdown in activity and a growing trade war with the United States.

At 10:55 GMT, the yuan lost 7.1% against the dollar, to settle at 7,012 yuan.
