In praise of the participating delegations, the General Assembly of the Asian School Sports Association (AFC) completed its work in Doha after a three-day meeting attended by representatives of 15 member badociations of the Asian Confederation.
The final meetings were unique and included many important topics to promote school sports in all Asian countries.
The meetings were chaired by Zhang Ailong, president of the Asian School Sports Federation, in the presence of all member countries who praised the country's unique hospitality to the General Assembly, underscoring the great capacity of the country to organize various sports events.
Ali Al-Hitmi thanked members of the AFC General Assembly for his selection to the AFC Executive Bureau. "This is due to the great trust Qatar places in all AFC members," he said.
Ali Al-Hitmi said he would attend meetings of the Asian Confederation's executive board in Thailand next year, highlighting Qatar's desire to be present in various continental and international federations and wishing to succeed to add the AFC.

Awareness of the dangers of doping
A seminar was held yesterday to raise awareness among athletes about the dangers of doping and the prevention of the scourge that destroys sport.
Participants were made aware of the dangers of doping and its negative impact on athletes in particular and sport in general through the National Anti-Doping Committee.
The director of the committee, Ms. Fatima Al-Malki, explained the dangers of doping to raise awareness of the dangers of the scourge that threatens the future of athletes.
Dr. Hussain Imam Ali, coordinator of the committee's tests, distributed leaflets on doping to Congress participants to raise awareness of the problem.

A seminar on playground injuries in youth under 18 was organized yesterday by the AFC Sport School Congress at the Holiday Inn Hotel.
