Cristiano Ronaldo will not attend the 2018 World Player Gold Ball award, which will be awarded to France Football magazine on Monday, said Sky Sports.
The winner will be Croatia 's Luka Modric, former Real Madrid and Ronaldo midfielder, crowned European footballer of the year and FIFA' s World Player of the Year award.
According to the Italian television channel, Cristiano finished second, while Antoine Grazman, of Atletico Madrid, was third and the Croatian captain won the Grand Prix.
The concert will take place at the Grand Palais in Paris on Monday, December 3rd at 9:30 pm.
The same network said that in addition to Modric, the Brazilian Marta would receive the prize for the best player and the Young Player of the Year award would go to Frenchman Kélien Mbabé, the striker of Paris St Germain.
