Belgian star Eden Hazard knocked out Real Madrid when given extra weight, making it a source of ridicule among fans and a source of concern within the Royal Club.
Spanish sources revealed that Hazard had reached the club with 7 kilos more than his normal weight, making him appear as an "inappropriate" sportsman.
Hazard does not seem to have lost that weight in the weeks that followed, in friendly matches with Real Madrid.

The Spanish sports newspaper reported that club president Florentino Perez had begun to doubt the "deal of the season", especially the seriousness with which Hazard played.
Fans hope to see an upgraded version of Hazard on Aug. 17, when Real will play his first game against Celta Vigo.
