The inhabitants of Beirut, the South, the Bekaa Valley and Mount Lebanon felt tonight with a slight earthquake, according to the National News Agency. Preliminary information indicated that the earthquake felt by the Lebanese came from the Dead Sea.
Palestinian media reported a tremor west of the Sea of Galilee, north of occupied Palestine, near the Syrian-African section. According to Arab media reports, residents of Irbid, northern Jordan and southern Syria have felt the earthquake, in addition to the various areas of the occupied West Bank, to varying degrees. There was no report of casualties or deaths.
